The Benefits of Neem

I recently purchased some neem powder from Iqra, my favorite Indo-Pak store and my first time seeing it's magic work occurred within the last 24 hours. I am a believer of herbal remedies and love when I am able to see quick results, as sometimes natural cures take much longer than pharmaceutical options. My son, had some type of itchy irritated bumps, that looked a bit like a poison sumac or ivy outbreak. I mixed a bit of water to the powdered neem and made a thick paste and then applied it to the bumps. In the morning the redness, itch and severity and number of bumps were dramatically reduced. I wish I would have taken a before and after! I was so impressed and empowered as usual when I, with the help of Nature, can help my family heal. There is such a great feeling that comes over me when I am able to bring homeostasis for my children. It is such an ancient act to use leaves, berries, oils and powders to bring health to yourself.

Neem (Azadirachta indica) is the common name of an extremely important tree native to the Indian subcontinent, which now grows in certain parts of the Middle East, as well. It also alleviates gastric conditions, slows the aging process, and maintains sexual organ health.
